Hal Warren

Hal is a disciple of Jesus Christ who was married in 1981 to his wife Kathy and they have four sons and one daughter – Jonathan, David, Christabel, Seth, and Joseph. He believes, second to cultivating his relationship with God, that raising his family unto the Lord is the most significant task for him while on Earth. Furthermore, Hal believes that being a successful leader in the church or work place is no substitute for failing to be a successful leader at home.

Hal is an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Design Engineer at Dominion’s Surry Power Station. He has also been the Lead Instructor of NRC License Operator Requalification Training, Lead Instructor of Nuclear I&C Technician Training, and an I&C Technician during his over twenty-one years at this nuclear power station. Hal has a B.S. in Electronics and Instrumentation from Excelsior College and will complete a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University in 2006. He received the first Nuclear Energy Institutes Training Top Industry Practice Award in 2003, a Training Excellence Award from the American Nuclear Society in 1995, and a U.S. Navy Commendation Medal for Leadership in 1983. He is listed in Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals for 2006.

He is the lead motivational trainer for Gathering of Men of Newport News, VA. (www.gatheringofmen.com) This is a para-church organization dedicated to helping the local church build men for Jesus. Through this ministry Hal trains men, the leaders of men’s ministries and occasionally provides pulpit supply. Hal desires to honor Christ through this Internet teaching ministry, thereby glorifying the Heavenly Father, in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
